Founded in 2001, Tufting Machinery Services Ltd (TMS) has been at the forefront of the tufting machinery manufacture industry for many years and is renowned for its unmatched value for money. The company was known in the reconditioned tufting machinery field but has grown to become a world-wide supplier of brand new tufting machines and ancillary equipment.
TMS supplies machines, ancillaries, conversions and spare parts internationally for the residential, commercial, hospitality and automotive industries, as well as artificial turf manufacturers.
Over the past decade, TMS has continuously elevated the standard of its machine rebuilds and refurbished machinery to the level we have reached today. As a result, our machines are now regarded as equivalent to completely new equipment. The M-color Tufting machine is a multi-color loop pile tufting machine capable of making 6-color patterns, featuring individual servo control for each yarn feed to achieve varying loop pile heights on each stroke — widely used for carpet tiles, rugs, and wall-to-wall carpet.

We offer machine refurbishment across all makes and models, all of which are reconditioned both mechanically and electrically to the very highest standards. Refurbishing, conversions and upgrades can be carried out either at the customer's site or our own workshop.
In order to meet individual customer requests and accommodate specific budgets, TMS offers the option of refurbished machines in addition to new equipment — starting from an existing machine with targeted modifications to meet specific technical and operational requirements. We pride ourselves on our ability to provide fully bespoke machines built to exact customer requirements.
TMS Conversions & Attachments
TMS is known worldwide for their market leading position in converting existing machines and offering true value for money. We are able to adapt and design all levels of conversions, from simple gauge changes right through to the most complex conversions.
Our standard range of conversions & attachments consists of:
- Gauge changes
- Jute mover attachments (mechanical or by servo drive)
- Double sided yarn feed system (by PIV or Servo drive)
- Single or double sliding needlebar systems (by cam system or servoshifter)
- Multiroll attachments (up to 8 rollers / machine side)
- ICY individual controlled yarn attachment for any gauge
- FRS full repeat scroll systems

TMS Electrical Panels & Overhaul
One of the major issues within the industry globally is electrical obsolescence. All too often we hear customers struggling to source old obsolete electrical components they need to address ongoing problems.
Here at TMS we understand that there is not always the budget to simply replace a machine with a new one when mechanically the machines are in great order. With our electrical team's deep knowledge of the industry and our close collaborations with well-known electrical component suppliers, we are able to address these obsolescence issues by supplying retrofit panels with brand new, up-to-date technology.
This allows our customers to retain their current machines while being confident their electrical panels will be fit for purpose for years to come.
TMS Service & Moving Machinery
From design to manufacture, installation, maintenance and repairs — we pride ourselves on the service we supply for our customers. TMS provides unrivalled quality, value, service and on-time delivery, backed by a team of highly skilled mechanical and electrical service engineers.
Through the collaboration between LCM and TMS, we are able to manage both small- and large-scale machine relocation projects — ranging from individual tufting machines and backing lines to complete factories. This partnership enables us to provide full project relief and true end-to-end support.
We work with multiple specialized teams capable of dismantling machinery worldwide, supporting customers with transportation, reinstallation, commissioning and start-up, and — where required — operator training. During the relocation process, we can also implement machine modifications or upgrades to optimize the equipment for its new operational environment.
